Meet

the photographer

Hi, I’m Cléa – a nostalgic soul with a curious mind and a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms.

Before I picked up a camera, I wanted to design gardens and dance across stages. I’ve always followed beauty – in shapes, in movement, in feeling. Photography felt like home the moment I found it. With a background in art history and archaeometry, it became a natural way to blend my love for storytelling, aesthetics, and detail.

Born to Make Things Beautiful

As a child, I was always creating something — drawing, crafting, imagining ways to make the world feel softer, more beautiful. I once dreamed of designing gardens or animating for children's shows, not for the recognition, but for the joy of making something that could be called beautiful. That longing to create and connect through beauty still lives in everything I do.

Little Things, Big Feelings

I’ve always felt a quiet pull toward the past.

I find comfort in the colors of another time, the soft glow of vintage interiors, the cheerful jingles of childhood cartoons, and the nostalgia wrapped in a simple Wednesday sandwich. I'm deeply moved by objects and moments that hold memory, that feel like portals to another version of ourselves. Like my old Nintendo DS games that bring me back to quiet childhood afternoons, or the small treasures I bring home from my travels—a traditional paper fan from Japan, a hand-crafted cup from Morocco, a buckle from my stay in the States, or a recipe book from Santorini. I’ve wandered through the timeless streets of Venice, felt the buzz of New York and Los Angeles, and taken in the deep stillness of Hungary and the UK. Each destination left behind something—a scent, a sound, a handmade object — and I carry them home like gentle souvenirs for the soul. These pieces don’t just decorate my space; they carry fragments of who I’ve been and where I’ve felt most alive. Maybe that’s also why I’ve always loved the color pink — there’s something tender, joyful, and quietly bold about it that feels a lot like me.

Right now, Bordeaux is home, and home is also where my partner is. My Sunday mornings are best spent slowly — rain tapping the window, something warm in my hands, a new film playing in the background.

Where

I feel at

People often say I’m full of contrasts : thoughtful but cheerful, calm but full of energy, a dreamer with both feet on the ground. I hold my relationships close and believe deeply in honesty, loyalty, and showing up fully — in life and in work. To me, art is one of the most powerful ways to explore the world and understand one another.

home

Cinema that lingers, music that swells (Hans Zimmer and M83 have my heart), and art that invites stillness — these are the things that stir something in me. I can lose track of time wandering through museums or diving into Pinterest rabbit holes filled with colorful interiors. My days often end with a comforting ritual—a Coke Zero, something cozy to eat, and a story to get lost in, whether it's a beautiful film or the harmless chaos of a lighthearted reality show.

To Leave a Trace

There is a quote that stays with me :

They say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name on Earth for the last time.

Maybe that’s why I photograph, why I care so much about moments and memory. Because in some small way, through feeling and creation, we leave a trace behind.

My Own Rhythm

When I'm not working, I find energy and balance in the rituals that ground me. Boxing, a recent addition to my life, helps me reconnect with my body and release what builds up during the week. I scroll through Pinterest boards like visual diaries, listen to music constantly, and let YouTube play in the background like a familiar friend. These quiet moments — simple, often solitary — keep me connected to myself and fuel the way I move through the world.
